I use both theoretical and empirical methodologies to study the evolution of animal social behavior, particularly focusing on exploring the evolution of parental care variations and the mechanisms behind decision‑making in reproduction. I also employ individual-based simulations to understand the effects of inbreeding and environmental disturbance on conservation outcomes, and provide conservation strategies to improve endangered species protection.
