Titleimage: Evolving Interactions

Research in the Group of Evolving Interactions is built on three pillars of core expertise (i.e., Evolutionary Game Theory, Animal social interactions, and Microbial social interactions) and strategic applications addressing pressing real-world challenges surrounding the three pillars. Our research focuses on developing Evolutionary Game Theory by incorporating essential biological components such as demographic structure and sexual reproduction, and applying the modelling framework to studying social evolution and collective behaviors in animals and microorganisms. We are funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation Starting Grants (link to a featured interview).
